  • Wednesday, September 9th 6:00 pm: Recovery Walks! 2020 Pep Rally -Dr. Jill Williams, Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Division of Addiction Psychiatry at the Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Tobacco and Vape Free Recovery, 2019 Walk Team Winners, Honor Guard
     

  • Saturday, September 12, 9:30 am – 12 noon: Recovery Walks! 2020 -Kick Off Video, Honor Guard Highlights, Special Guest Intros with “Why I Walk”, Recovery Idol Performance, LiveStreaming Sponsors and Teams Recognition
     

  • Wednesday, September 16th 6:00 pm: The Power of Peers -Keynote TBD, Panel of Philadelphia Area Peers sharing Lessons Learned about Promoting and Supporting Recovery in a Pandemic
     

  • Wednesday, September 23rd 6:00 pm:  A Conversation on Anti-Racism and Peer Recovery- Dep. Commissioner Roland Lamb, DBHIDS and Breakout Groups Conversations
     

  • Wednesday, September 30th 6:00 pm: Recovery Month Grand Finale- “The Recovery Toolbox For All” Closing keynote by Bill White

Recovery Walks is a tobacco and vape-free event.  Please refrain from smoking and vaping during the event to respect the recovery journeys of others by not creating cues and triggers for those in recovery from tobacco use and to maintain an alcohol, drug and tobacco-free event

 

Register for the Honor Guard
If you have 10+ years of recovery. The Honor Guard leads the walk as elder statesmen in recovery and beacons of hope for all who follow. If you did not sign-up for the Honor Guard when you registered send an email to awashington@councilsepa.org, put "Honor Guard" in the header, Include your name, email and your number of years in recovery. We will mail your pin and your sash to you!
