Recovery Walks! is the 2010 National Site for Rally for Recovery
We’re proud to be the National Hub for more than 80 events all across the country for Faces & Voices of Recovery. We welcome A&E’s Recovery Delegates from all 50 states and the District of Columbia to Philadelphia this year! Click Here to go to the A&E Recovery Project facebook page.
September is National Recovery Month…
All across the country people are participating in walks, rallies and other events as part of National Recovery Month. Recovery Walks! is our region’s yearly event where we put a positive face on recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We’ll proudly join tens of thousands of people across the country to support individuals and their families in need of help, to celebrate people in recovery, their families, friends and allies and to honor organizations providing prevention, treatment and recovery support.
About Walk for Recovery
PRO-ACT uses all proceeds from this event to support community activities, educate the public and media, raise awareness, end discriminatory policies, reduce stigma, provide individual recovery support, and advocate at the state, federal and local levels.
How do I build a team?
Each year, groups of people from local companies and organizations as well as families organize teams of walkers – employees, members, relatives and friends to walk together. It makes it even more fun. Find out how to build your team and bring a group of people to the walk. Join the Walk!
