- There
is no walker registration fee for the walk. All participants
are encouraged to collect donations from family members, friends,
co-workers and business associates in support of their participation
in the Walk.
- All proceeds will be used to support community activities, educate
the public and media, raise awareness, fight stigma, provide
individual recovery support, and advocate at the state, federal
and local levels.
- Walkers have the ability to designate a portion of proceeds to
local PRO-ACT activities.
- Walkers earning $50 or more in donations will get a 2011 PRO-ACT Recovery Walks! tee shirt.
- Walkers may choose to walk without raising funds.
