Observed each September, National Recovery Month gives us an opportunity to increase public awareness about addiction recovery. It is an important moment for us all to celebrate victory, promote and support evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, and honor the strong, proud recovery community and the service providers and communities who advance recovery in all forms. Recovery Month Events, including our walk highlight the theme: Recovery is for Everyone: Every Individual, Every Family, Every Community
The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania and our program, Pennsylvania Recovery Organization – Achieving Community Together (PRO-ACT), are proud to present events throughout September that demonstrate that “Recovery Works!” and every person can be part of making Recovery possible.
